The Lake Ridge Trail is a rugged walking trail that takes you through various habitats in the interior of the park. Much of the trail travels across the former lake bottom of post-glacial Lake Nipissing. From the top of the shoreline bluff of this former lake, you can see evidence of the efforts of early settlers who tried to farm this forbidding land.
Hikers should wear sturdy footwear as the abundant boulder pavement can be difficult to walk on.
Bicycles are not permitted on this trail.
